The things people ask most. If yours is not here, email us and a person replies.
The planned import path is deterministic, not AI-based. The document worker accepts PDF, DOCX, LinkedIn ZIP, and canonical JSON inputs, extracts text or structured data, and returns a schema-validated draft with field confidence, warnings, method, and extraction-stack version.
Low-confidence fields and any warning force a review pass before the draft becomes your working resume. The worker rejects mismatched extension/MIME pairs, oversized files, unsafe ZIP paths, and PDFs over the documented page limit, so some messy or scanned documents may need manual cleanup after import.
Each AI operation shows its credit cost before it runs. Credits reset each month and do not roll over. Writing, editing, exporting, and tracking applications do not consume AI credits.
Free includes 1 tailored resume and 1 cover letter each month (40 AI credits), Plus 30 tailorings (690 credits), and Pro 75 tailorings (1,725 credits). If a provider failure makes an output unusable, the run is not charged. The published allowances are the current public offer; the exact cost of each operation is shown in the product, not guessed from this page.
The AI scoring contract returns one score from 0 to 100 plus findings. Each finding has a stable code, severity of info, warning, or error, a message, and optionally the resume item it refers to.
Treat errors as blockers, warnings as likely fixes, and info as context. The ATS round-trip report is separate: it checks what ResumeFully’s versioned extractor recovered from the exact exported artifact, including reading order, dropped or merged content, and structural problems. It is evidence, not certification against every employer system.
TXT, PDF and DOCX export all work today. Every PDF and DOCX is rendered on our servers, and the app checks the downloaded file against the checksum the server recorded before saving it.
Use plain text when a form field strips formatting or when you want to check the exact text an extractor sees. Use PDF when the portal accepts it and preserving layout matters. Use DOCX when a recruiter or employer explicitly asks for an editable file.
Settings has a self-service account export action that invokes `account-actions` with `action: export` and downloads the returned JSON on web. The same page has account deletion behind an explicit `DELETE` confirmation.
Deletion removes live profile, resume, tracker, private-file, processing, and render-artifact data. Financial and tax records are not erased wholesale; they are minimized to required transaction identifiers, amounts, and dates. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups until the backup window expires, and restores must re-apply erasures.
On web, Settings shows the current plan and subscription status. If Paddle is configured, “Manage billing” opens the Paddle-hosted customer portal. “Cancel subscription” asks for one confirmation, then schedules cancellation at the end of the current billing period.
If checkout is not configured yet, the app says so instead of showing a dead upgrade path. Native Apple and Google billing are separate Phase 6 work and are not part of the web Paddle flow.
