Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancelling: what happens and how
You can cancel a ResumeFully subscription at any time from your account settings inside the product. It takes the same number of steps as subscribing did. There is no phone call, no email required, and no retention flow you have to decline your way out of.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not cut off access immediately: you keep your paid features until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
After that period ends, your account moves to the Free tier. Your resumes, versions, and application history stay where they are. Nothing is deleted because you stopped paying.
Who processes refunds
Paddle.com Market Ltd is our merchant of record for web purchases. Paddle takes the payment, issues the invoice, handles sales tax and VAT, and processes refunds.
That means a refund is paid back by Paddle to the original payment method. We can approve a refund and ask Paddle to issue it, but the money moves through Paddle, not through us directly.
Refunds normally reach your account within five to ten business days of being issued, depending on your bank or card provider.
Your statutory right to withdraw
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services within 14 days, without giving a reason.
One exception applies and it is worth reading before you buy: if you ask for immediate access to the paid features and acknowledge at checkout that doing so ends your withdrawal right once the service has been fully performed, that right can be lost. We will always ask for that acknowledgement explicitly at checkout rather than burying it.
Where the service has only been partly performed within those 14 days, you may still withdraw and be charged only for what you actually used.
Consumers elsewhere keep whatever equivalent rights local law gives them. This policy does not replace or reduce them.
Refunds outside the statutory window
Beyond any statutory right, we would rather refund someone than keep money they feel they did not get value for.
If something did not work, if you were charged for a renewal you meant to cancel, if you were charged twice, or if you bought the wrong plan, contact us and we will refund it. We do not require you to prove hardship or justify the request.
We may decline a refund where an account has been used to breach our Terms of Service, or in cases of clear and repeated abuse of this policy — for example, repeatedly subscribing, exporting, and requesting a refund.
A refund of a subscription ends the subscription. Your account returns to the Free tier and your documents remain available there.
How to request a refund
Write to support@resumefully.com from the email address on the account, and include the approximate date of the charge. You do not need to include the invoice, though it helps.
You may also contact Paddle directly through the link on the invoice or receipt they emailed you when you paid. Paddle can process the refund without going through us.
We aim to answer refund requests within three business days.
Purchases made through app stores
ResumeFully is currently a web product, and every purchase goes through Paddle. This section describes what will change when the native mobile apps ship.
Purchases made inside an iOS or Android app are processed by Apple or Google, not by Paddle and not by us. Refunds for those purchases are requested from Apple or Google directly and are governed by their policies, because we are not the seller of record for that channel.
Cancelling a store subscription is done in the store's own subscription settings. Cancelling inside ResumeFully will not stop an Apple or Google subscription, and we will say so plainly in the product at the point it matters.
